Happy New Year 2022!
It has been a long time since I updated my art blog. Apart from the Corona crisis that hit us all in 2020 and 2021, I experienced an unexpected loss, a personal tragedy that hit me very hard. It took me ages to accept it, and while I am now able to live my daily life without constantly diving into my own world of thoughts and memories, the healing process is still ongoing in the background.
During that time of severe grief, I didn’t paint much. Only a few abstract works that I sold and one abstract work that I painted in memory of the loved one I lossed, which will remain with me forever. I dived into new worlds of interest to keep my head busy 24/7.
The good thing is that I am „back“ now and there are a few interesting projects I am involved in this year, which I plan to share throughout the year 🙂
For 2022, I wish you all health, happiness and fulfillment – and the ability to see the silver lining even in times of darkness.
