„Female Warriors & The Golden 1920s“ Solo Exhibition Opening 3rd May 2019

Yesterday night was the Vernissage for my exhibition „Female warriors & The Golden 1920s“ at N Galerie in Hamburg (more info on the newly opened venue http://www.n-galerie.de/home/).

In contrast to my former exhibtions in 2018 and in January 2019, I included NEW artwork never seen before in the exhibition! 🙂 Apart from my female warrior classics, I showed my work on women of the 1920s. A decade that is truely an inspiration and meant a great deal of progress in terms of societal development while embedded in a darker age of world wars.

There was beautiful Jazz music throughout the night, drinks, lovely fingerfood and around 70 wonderful people joining us throughout the opening night. Thanks to everyone who came and for bringing your friends along. Thanks for all the beautiful and encouraging feedback. And finally a big thank you to Natalia Osenchakova for asking me to be her first guest artist, for believing in my art and for organizing this beautiful exhibition! 🙂

Here are some impressions of the night:

  1. The Amazons (in Greek, ???????? ) were a mythical and ancient nation of female warriors. Herodotus placed them in a region bordering Scythia in Sarmatia. The histories and legends in Greek mythology may be inspired by warrior women among the Sarmatians .
